Workshop on Mangrove

 

        A workshop on 'Mangrove: An Integral component of Coastal Ecosystem: Conservation Strategies and Management Practices' shall be organized by the Department of Environment & Forest at TSG Emerald View, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair from 12^th October to 14^th October 2011. The workshop shall be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Shri Shakti Sinha on 12.10.2011 at 1000 hrs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

N&M ZP oath of office

        The election for the second term for the post of Adhyaksh and Up-Adhyaksh was conducted today in the Zilla Parishad North & Middle Andaman office by Shri Udit Prakash Deputy Commissioner North & Middle Andaman. Shri P. Prasad, Zilla Parishad member, Rangat and Shri Uttam Mondal, Zilla Parishad member Harinagar were declared  elected for the post of Adhyaksh and Up-Adhyaksh respectively.

        The Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle district will administer the oath of office to the newly elected Adhyaksh and Up-Adhyaksh of North & Middle Andaman Zilla Parishad for the second year term commencing from 11.10.2011 in the Information Centre, Netaji Sports Complex, Mayabunder on 11.10.2011 at 1100 hours.
