Tuesday’s public hearing at Raj Niwas

 

        People are advised to approach the concerned Pr. Secretaries/Secretaries/Head of the Departments in the first instance for redressal of their grievances. In case their grievances are not properly attended to and resolved, then they may meet the Lt Governor during public hearing on every Tuesday. All Pr. Secretaries/Secretaries/Head of Departments are required to attend to the grievances of the people on priority during the specified timing displayed in the respective departments.

Fishermen & Port Warning

 

Port Blair, May 14^th 2013:- Under the influence of Cyclonic storm "MHASEN" over Southeast Bay of Bengal, and adjoining areas strong wind speed between 45 & 55 Kmph and rough to very roughseas likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andaman Coast during next 24 hours & D W S -II is kept hoisted at Port Blair port. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures and in case of any emergency contact in the following phone numbers of State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres.
