GREETINGS

On the auspicious and joyous occasion of Diwali, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The legendary return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after his victory over Ravana marks the celebration of Diwali. The festival also emphasizes the significance of the high values and ethos of truth, righteousness and benevolence, for us all to emulate. Heralding the advent of peace and prosperity, the festival also calls upon all of us to work in unison for all-round progress of these Islands.

May the festival of light brighten up all our homes with health, happiness and prosperity.
