Power suspension

 

         Power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 01.08.2015 from 0800 hours to 1300 hours for maintenance of RMUs at Shadipur area and also for replacement of Hume Pipe Culvert near Santoshi Mata Temple by APWD at Minnie Bay.

 

         The areas to be affected by power disruption are Minnie Bay area complete, Ranchi Basti, Lamba Line, School Line, Old Pahargaon, part of Dollygunj, Shadipur, South Point, Mazar Pahar, Circuit House, Govt. Press, JNRM and RGT Road.

 

         There will also be power suspension in few more areas on 01.08.2015 from 0730 hours to 1400 hours for maintenance of RMUs at Haddo affecting power supply at Haddo, Buniyadabad and Foreshore Road areas.

 

         There was interruption in power supply from 08.30 PM of 27.07.2015 to till evening of 28.07.2015 at the surrounding areas of Haddo Telugu Medium School. It was not due to load shedding or power cut as enough capacity is available. The interruption in power supply was due to unexpected failure of distribution transformer installed near Haddo Telugu Medium School. The distribution transformer has since been repaired by the engineers and staff of the Electricity department and normal power supply has been restored by evening of 28.07.2015.
