Press conference

 

         A press conference/media sensitization workshop for introduction of Pentavalent and Inactivated Polio Virus vaccine (IPV) in A&N Islands is scheduled to be held in G.B. Pant Hospital auditorium on 31.07.2015 at 12.00 noon.

Instruction for Candidates

1.     Reporting time at Examination Centre 9 am on 02 Aug 2015.

2.     Bell at 9.30 am signifies – enter the allotted hall/room.

3.     Bell at 9.45am – be seated at your respective desk in your allotted hall/room.

4.     Bell at 10 am – commencement of exam.

5.     Bell would be played at 11.30am (halfway and again 10 minutes before completion) and 12.50 pm.

6.     Final bell at 1pm – you are to stop writing.

7.     Do NOT carry any stationary items like pen, pencil, textual materials (printed or hand written), bits of paper, watch, wallet, purse, belt, water bottles, calculators, electronic devices like cell phones, blue tooth, etc..

8.     Show your Admit Card to the Invigilator when asked for.

9.     Use only black ball pen provided for answering the OMR sheet.

10.  On receipt of Question booklet, check all pages for intactness and ensure OMR Sheet is enclosed. In case of discrepancy, immediately inform the Invigilator.

11.  Ensure correct entry of Index Number in the OMR sheet both numerically and by shading and rounding appropriate circles. Sign with date in the space provided.

12.  Enter the OMR Serial Number, sign the Attendance sheet and affix your left thumb impression on the Attendance Sheet when presented.

13.  You are NOT permitted to leave the examination hall till completion of the examination.

14.  Your candidature is liable to be rejected in case you are found using unfair means or talking or helping your fellow examinees.

15.  Do NOT write name or anything in the Question booklet or OMR sheet which may be construed as attempt to disclose your identity.

16.  Do NOT write or disfigure the booklet. Rough work may be done in the blank pages provided in the booklet.

17.  On completion of the Exam return both, the Question set with OMR sheet.

18.  Retain the Admit Card in original as the same would be required during counselling.

19.  When called for counselling, bring a photo ID proof, all original certificates/bond along with a Xerox copy of each and the Admit Card in original.

20.  Dress – Light Colour, half sleeves, no head cover, no big buttons, no large earing, headpins and broach.

21.  You will be frisk at the entry gate, kindly cooperate.

22.  Do not carry any valuables, you might be asked to leave it outside at your own risk.

 

 

 

 

 

Power suspension

 

         Power supply will remain suspended in some of the areas on 01.08.2015 from 0800 hours to 1500 hours for reconstruction of transformer structure at Guptapara junction (Near Telephone Exchange), maintenance of T&D systems at Nayasahar 6 pole structure, maintenance of 6 pole structure inside IPP complex and HT & LT line clearance works. The works will be carried out subject to weather condition and power supply to the affected areas will be resumed as soon as the work is completed, which may be prior to 1500 hours.

 

         The areas to be affected by power disruption are Nayasahar, Manjery and Guptapara junction, Bambanallah, Manglutan, Chouldari to Tirur & Namunaghar to Dandaspoint, Bambooflat to Hopetown, Shore Point, Stewartgunj, Wimberlygunj to Shoal Bay, Wimberlygunj to Ferrargunj, Ferrargunj to Jirkatang and Ram Nagar.
