The AWW is responsible for daily activities of the AWC. The Mukhya Sevika has to visit the AWC at least twice in a month and submit report. The CDPO would conduct surprise inspection and will submit report to higher authorities.
In addition to the above, the State ICDS Cell, Programme Officer, Director (SW), Secretary (SW) are making surprise inspection.
ICMR has been authorized for regular evaluation, Food and Nutrition Board also inspect AWCs and give suggestion. In addition to this there are different levels of Co-ordination committee such as State, District, Project village to review the functioning of ICDS. The PRIs are also make surprise visit to AWCs. For supply and distribution of SNP a committee has been constituted with the Assistant Commissioner, Block Development Office.
